Offshore Wind Farms and Fishing Activity in the Irish Sea
This research poster examines how offshore wind farm operation affects
fishing activity in the Irish Sea. Using AIS-based fishing effort data
and a difference-in-differences approach, I compare wind farm areas to
nearby control waters before and after operation begins. The results
suggest lower fishing effort within treated wind farm polygons and
point to more localized shifts in fishing behavior rather than clear
industry-wide losses.

Venture Capital
Corporate Venture Capital Research
A contributor role on a Kauffman Fellows research project focused on
corporate venture capital. The research draws on a series of interviews
with CVC investors, and my piece of it is the analysis across those
interviews: pulling out recurring themes and patterns, and helping with
some of the quantitative work and visualization behind them. It has been
a valuable way to get a closer look at how the venture world thinks about
building and investing.

A Python-based tool for automated startup sourcing and market mapping.
It scrapes company data, generates structured profiles, tags each
company by sector and business model, and scores companies against a
configurable investment thesis.
